The essence of EFT and EMDR

EFT is based on TCM principles

Emotional freedom technique (EFT) is based on tapping begin/end points of well known acupuncture meridians. Meridians we all too well know from Traditional Chinese Medicin. It is observed that tapping on the acupuncture points we perform the “art of letting go” of that emotion/feeling that blocks us from being in the now.

Tapping alone is not enough. The right mental state is required to support this energy releasing tapping system. Energy releasing in that sense that it removes any blocks in the meridians. Picture the removing of a dam in a river.

Tapping end/begin points of acupuncture meridians

It is easily recognizable that the end/begin points of acupuncture meridians are being tapped. Situated respectively on the: Bladder, Gall Bladder, Triple Warmer, Stomach, Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Lung, Spleen, Liver.

The mental state required is “a focus on the problem” by reciting a stress statement. And when you have watched this video above then you will have noticed the eye rotation that is faintly acquainted with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). With this eye-rotating technique and holding eye positions where we “feel stress”, we access different brain areas where emotions hold us from feeling free.

EFT and EMDR

All and all two techniques that are not difficult in essence, yet powerful enough for those who have these EMOTIONAL problems and to make a difference all by yourself. When you do not feel save doing this by yourself, by all means look for guidance. But change will only occur when you do the work.

Breathe in, breathe out, eye rotate and tap the acupuncture points.

Don’t give your power to the so called “professional”. It requires a “submissive state” to give your self to the professional and that is not a good thing! Know you are better served with a good trance-like state to make this change – that you so desperately want – happen. And you can …
